The paper is in compliance with the rules of the Regulation (EC) N°1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of  27 October 2004, on materials and articles intended to come in contact with food and repealing Directives 80/599/EEC and 80/109/EEC, Official Journal of the 

European Union n°L338/4 of the 13/11/2004, article 3.
Thus the paper may be used safely for food packaging.

For our non-woven quality, the fibres are natural cellulose fibres, bleached wood pulp (new not recycled), certified FSC and / or PEFC, polyester fibres classified BfR XXXVI/1 and FDA 176.170 and 176.180. The binder is monomer vinyl acetate and ethylene classified Bfr XIV and FDA 176.170, in which has been added inert mineral fillers.

This quality doesn't contain : optical brightness, dangerous substance for the environment (classified N in Annex 1 of EU Directive 67/548/EEC and its amendments) at concentrations greater than 0,1% by weight in the formulation.

Concerning the correspondence with regard to the Guide of the good practices for the manufacturing of papers and cardboards intended for food contact, our supplier can guarantee that being ISO certified 9001:2000 (Quality) since 2002, ISO 14001 (environment) since 1997 and OHSAS 18001 (Safety) since 2005, our supplier make sure of the selection and the control of raw materials, as well as the manufacturing processes.

Further to this, the quality can perfectly be considered as adapted to food contact.

We declare that this material is characterized as follows :

• A recycled basis paper suited for dry and non fat food contact, in accordance with the article 3 of the regulation CE 1935/2004 Foodstuffs and Animal feed code-LFGB, and the German Recommendations XXXVI of BfR.
   
• A front and back coating, whose the components follow the recommendations XXXVI of Bfr / Germany and / or the regulation 21 CFR of FDA / USA Regulations.

All our nonwoven quality have successfully passed the overall migration test into 3 liquids (distilled water, acetic acid, isooctane) in accordance with AFNOR Standard XP ENV 1186 - EEC Directives – 85/572 90/128 97/48 – Decree of 09/14/92.
